Enter a start time and an end time and the elapsed duration appears in hours and minutes. If the end time is earlier than the start, the tool assumes the interval crosses midnight, so overnight shifts calculate correctly. It takes the error out of base-60 mental arithmetic — from timesheets like "9:15 to 17:47" to travel legs and meeting lengths.
