Memorial Service Calculator

Enter the date of death and the tool lists the Japanese Buddhist memorial services — from the first anniversary (isshuki) through the 50th (gojukkaiki) — with the year and date of each, plus a countdown to the next one. The traditional counting rule, where the third-year service falls two calendar years after death, is handled automatically, so you can plan temple arrangements and family gatherings without miscounting.

• All services from the 1st to the 50th anniversary
• Correct traditional year counting applied automatically
• Date and years-elapsed for each service
• Days remaining until the next service
